The World Cup comes to life at Valencia CF’s Ciutat Esportiva

The FIFA World Cup comes to life at Valencia CF’s Ciutat Esportiva in a very special way these days. More than 200 U12 boys and girls from Valencia CF Academy Programs across the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania have gathered at the training ground.

Among them are players from VCF Academy Houston and VCF Academy Seattle in the United States, VCF Academy Canada, VCF Academy Morelia (Mexico), and participants from the VCF Camps in Mexico.

Here in Valencia, they are enjoying the World Cup and celebrating their countries in a unique dual role: both as hosts and participants. Supporting their national teams from afar while proudly displaying their colours and flags at Valencia CF’s Ciutat Esportiva, which for a few days has become the venue for a World Cup on a smaller scale.

The VCF Academy World Cup brings together 15 teams from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Australia, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Greece, Cyprus and Spain, creating a truly international football festival and a multicultural celebration of the game.
